This was originally posted January 1 of this year. I just saw a new commercial that we’re 21 days away from the switch from analog to digital (assuming the Federal Government doesn’t delay it again.) I figured it would be fine to repost the original post for those of you not hanging out with me at the beginning of the year.
We’re being bombarded by commercials and news reports telling us to get ready for Digital TV. “You may need a digital converter box if your TV is older than 2005.”Don’t get me wrong, this is better than the election spots. And when American Idol starts in another week or so… I’ll be begging for DTV reports.
Just made me think again about our responsibility as Christians. We know what the future holds. Are we making any effort to inform our friends, family, neighbors, co-workers of the need for a Savior?
No government coupon needed on this one. God’s Grace is free to all.
“And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” – 2 Corinthians 12:9
