Simple Church – Group Blogging Project Signup

Simple Church by Thom Rainer and Eric Geiger

Simple Church by Thom Rainer and Eric Geiger

It has been a while since we’ve had a  group blogging project. I’ve participated in a number of them and have found them very rewarding. Here’s the concept.

Multiple people will read a book together at the same time. Then, each day one person will lead the discussion on their own blog about their assigned chapter. It leads to great discussion and application as each person has their own takeaways.

So, I’ve chosen to do Simple Church by Thom Rainer, and Eric Geiger. From the back cover: “Simple Church calls Christians to make a clear return to simple gospel sharing methods of Jesus. No elaborate, multi-level out reach strategies required.”

I’ll assign chapters as soon as I have 9 Volunteers. One for each Chapter.

If you are interested in participating, please make sure that you can have access to the book and have access to a blog that you can post your day’s conversation to. In the past there have been folks who wanted to participate, but did not have a blog of their own. I will post your day’s chapter here on my blog if you needed.

Leave a comment below if you’re interested.

I think we’ll try to start this towards the end of September so that you have time to get the book in your hands. (I picked mine up from the Gwinnett County Library – Sorry Thom and Eric)

    • Correction: My Wife Picked up the Book from the Library… Possibly along with the other books that make up our 75 book limit that can be checked out at one time from the library… Yes, we homeschool.
