We took a vacation a couple weeks ago to Disney World. My daughters got to spend the majority of three days seeing all the princesses and many, many, many characters…getting their autographs and having their pictures made with them. I decided at one of the stops to get a picture with Tigger and Eeyore. (sorry Pooh Bear. I didn’t think fast enough to get one with you)
There really is no need for me to add to the 197,000 pages of websites that discuss this concept (Google: Are You a Tigger or an eeyore)
I hadn’t actually heard of Randy Pausch before doing this last google search. Read more here. As Randy says, Perhaps we should not let the difficult days get us down like Eeyore. We can go through live upbeat and happy…enjoying and bouncing through every minute of life. Don’t allow yourself to be caught saying “oh well or “thanks for noticing me” like Eeyore. Go around celebrating “wonderful thing” that you are like tiggers.
Dude, you may think that I’m crazy and all, but this stuff is Biblical.
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. (Psalm 139:14)
