My brother, Chad, started a little project 4 years ago (this is the fifth year) that involved asking people to take 12 pictures on the 12th of each month. He called it “12 of 12.”
I’ve done it some years. Not every month, but I’m going to try to do it each month this year.
For more details on the challenge/project is here. A lot of people have and are doing this all over the world. It is interesting to see who/where/what the pictures involve. Here’s the link for the list of folks from this month
All that said… here are my May pictures.
As I was leaving this morning to go to work, my daughters were playing with some dominoes. I told them that they were a little close together and that they could be spread apart some. I was told that they wanted to make sure that they all fell down when pushed. I didn’t argue.
The Water Tower that has been a main stay on my 12 of 12s is being torn down. They have started the demolition. This is going to result in a separate blog post about why it is coming down. Be on the look out for it
This is from the inside of the water tower. I walked over this morning before work. One of the construction guys was nice enough to show me around. They are cutting it in sections from top to bottom. They are cutting pieces and dropping them inside the tower which causes a HUGE noise. Sounds like a massive thunderstorm in our office. Imagine the crash and rumble all day long. Yep. The tower is supposed to be completely down by June 5. That on the floor is steel and pipe that has been cut.

Atlanta Hawks Forward Joe Johnson has been put up for sale on Craigslist. Awesome.
My oldest daughter had her first playoff game tonight. They’re the Orioles. They lost. One more loss and they’re eliminated from this season’s playoffs.
Apparently the coach from the other team who lined the field wasn’t paying attention as he brought the chalk roller out of storage and it was wide open. Hopefully the players don’t get confused as they follow the base path towards first base. He literally didn’t realize it until he got to home plate to begin lining the field.
Here’s my oldest daughter after baseball, after dinner, after bath… practicing her piano. Recital on Sunday!
Subway. Standard Wednesday night meal. Some people know their Starbucks Barista. We know our Subway Sandwich Artist.
