Psalms 25

Man… there is so much good stuff in this chapter that we should put to memory. I should try to memorize this one.

To you, O Lord, I lift my soul. O my God, in you I trust. Let me not be put to shame; let not my enemies exult over me.

Teach me your paths, Lord.

Psalms 26

Our integrity is so vital to our lives. Our feet should be on solid ground and in the assembly of the Lord and not the assembly of evildoers. Chew on that one for a bit.

Psalms 27

The Lord is the light of my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Seek the lord. Listen and wait for Him.

Psalms 28

The Lord is my rock. My shield. My strength.

Psalms 29

Ponder the attributes of God and what defines his glory. He is King.

Psalms 30

Weeping and sorrow is temporal. Joy will come in the morning. Mourning will turn to dancing. Sackcloth will be replaced with gladness. Praise not silence. Thanks forever.

Psalms 31

God is our Rock and Fortress. I will trust in the Lord. How abundant is your goodness which has been stored up for those who fear you.

Psalms 32

God delivers us from our sin. It was our sin that kept us silent and made our bones decay. Confession led to forgiveness. Forgiveness only can come from the judge.

Psalms 33

Stand in awe of God and shout songs of praise to him. Loud shouts.

Psalms 34

Magnify the Lord. Random thought… Most of us need to ponder the greatness and size of God. He is so big and we are so small… yet, we need to magnify him even more. There is no limit to him, and we should not try to limit our understanding of Him.

Taste and see that he is good.

Psalms 35

God will repay evil for good. He will fight for us. He will rescue us and not be kept silent.

Psalms 36

Your love O Lord, reaches to the heavens. How precious is his steadfast love. What things are precious to me? My children. My love for them is steadfast… that is God’s love to me. I should acknowledge how amazing that love is.

Psalms 37

Evildoers will fade. Those who are faithful will dwell in the land. God knows our days. He knows the future as if it has already happened.

Psalms 38

Do not forsake me, O Lord.

Psalms 39

Let me know how fleeting I am. My lifetime is nothing before you, but my life is everything. My hope is in you.

Psalms 40

Set my feet upon a rock. Put a new song in my mouth. I delight to do your will. Your law is on my heart. May all who seek you, rejoice and be glad in you.

Psalms 41

By this I know that you delight in me: My enemy will not shout in triumph over me.

Psalms 42

As the deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, O God.

My soul thirsts for you, God.

Psalms 43

Hope in God; for I will again praise his name.

Psalms 44

Rise Up! Come to our help!

Psalms 45

Nations will praise you forever and ever.
