Bible in 90 Days | Psalm 135 – Proverbs 7: Day 46

I’m gonna double up today to try to get back on track of my plan to read through the Bible in 90 days. After today I will be done with the book of Psalms and will jump into Proverbs.

I have to admit, that I have enjoyed the book of Psalms this time through more than I have in the past. I have picked up on different words that have somehow been missed in the past. I actually have earmarked a few chapters to come back to and try to memorize as they are valuable for our daily walk.

I’m reading the Bible through in 90 days. Join me. Click here for more information on the ESV Bible in 90 day plan that I am doing.

Proverbs 1

Let the wise hear and increase in learning. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. Do not walk in the ways of evil. Whoever listens to God will dwell secure and will be at ease without dread of disaster.

Proverbs 2

Treasure up my commands. Seek understanding like silver. Search for it like treasure.

Proverbs 3

Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge HIM and HE will make your paths straight.  It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones. Do not despise the lord’s discipline. The Lord reproves those whom he loves.

Proverbs 4

The path of the righteous is like the morning sun. Guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.

Proverbs 5

Keep FAR away from the forbidden woman. Rejoice in the wife of your youth.

Proverbs 6 – 7

Here are listed practical warnings for us. One that stands out to me is to not be a sluggard. Arise from your sleep. Stay away from adultery and the adulteress. It is like being led to the slaughter.
