Random thoughts at the Norcross fireworks

1) Couldn’t have better weather tonight.
2) Love the fact that the city of Norcross put the Scientology booth next to the Mormon booth in front of the Masonic lodge.
3) Love the small town feel of Norcross. So nice living in the community. Actually being able to meet the people who live here. Wave to your neighbors. Why would you want to live anywhere else.
4) Funny how my girls like the snap poppers more than the boys who we are with. What does that mean?
5) Looking forward to participating in the Peachtree Road Race tomorrow with my wife. We aren’t running :) Not sure how many years this will be.

No Church at Cross Point this Sunday Night

Such a simple video by Blake Bergstrom, campus pastor of Cross Point in Nashville. I love the simplicity of this communication to its members. It feels real. It doesn’t use any after affects or 3D graphics.

  1. Hey, we’re changing things up this Sunday because it is July 4.
  2. Just because we’re not having the 6 o’clock service, doesn’t mean your out of an excuse. Come the other times.
  3. At the same time, it is a strategic way for outsiders to see what the inside of the church looks like. Hey look… there are pews!
