Rick and Bubba’s Guide to the Almost Nearly Perfect Marriage

I have to admit something. After a lot of the books I’ve been reading lately, I was looking for some lighter reading. I’ve recently read a Piper and MacArthur Book. I figured it was time for some humor.  Enter Rick and Bubba.

Actually, now that I think about it….a debate between these 4 learned and scholarly giants would be EPIC.

So… I was looking for a lighter book. Did I mention that? I’m not what you would call a fan of Rick and Bubba. I think I’ve seen or heard a grand total of 1 hour of air time of them. I was Fascinated about reading their humorous take on Marriage.

The book did not disappoint. It was funny and a easy read. Often I’d be reading stories and think, yep I know that story. My favorite story (and I promise you this has not happened to me and my wife) involves Rick trying to give directions to his wife.

I handed the book off to a good friend of mine who is a Rick and Bubba Follower. I’m interested in his takeaway from the book.

Overall, I’d recommend this “Guide” as a nice way for couples to laugh at each other.
