AHA!

Last year the Leadership Network and Catalyst put on a one day online event called “The Nines” that asked 75 leaders “If you had just 9 minutes to share with church leaders, what would you tell them?” I was able to watch several videos during the day, but you can actually see them all now online here.

Today I registered for a similar event called “Aha! New Voices. Fresh Ideas.” It looks like it will be good too. Here are the details:

When: Noon EST / 11 CST / 9 PST on Wednesday, March 3, 2010
Where: Online
How Much: Free (you can pay $20 for a schedule, bios, and notes)

The event is meant to encourage, motivate, and make you a better leader. Obviously the best part of this is that there are ministry minded folks who will be speaking.

When I saw the title of this post I was expecting the “Take On Me” video. I’ll head on over to YouTube for some nostalgia.

No Idea what you’re referring to. I’ll have to go look for it.

I think AHA is going to be good. Sure, 6 minutes is about all the pure-content you’re going to get from a 30 minute session. But it’s like drinking shots (of espresso mind you). It can be done, but leaves you relatively unsatisfied and feeling kinda weird.

I’m just saying, there is a value to a speaker taking 30 minutes to talk about an idea. Both good though.

LOL, I was expecting “take on me” too!
Or at least a sketchy looking Rick paradoy…

Yeah that band ruined the usage of AHA for everyone else….
